Daegu City, the hometown of member Suga of leading idol group BTS has confirmed that they are in talks to build the "tourism theme street" called Suga.
According to Starnews' news collecting results on July 24, Daegu Buk-gu Office said that they had recently met Suga's father and discussed issues related to "Suga-themed street". Reportedly, the proposal of Daegu Bukgu District was approved.
However, it was confirmed that Big Hit Entertainment has yet to receive any official proposal relating to this.
The "Sugar-themed street" project will focus on designing a theme street according to the plan of enhancing the tourism effect in Daegu City, Suga's hometown. The local media outlets have also reported on specific plans such as commercializing a 1km road around the area where Suga lives, arranging for Suga-themed buses to pass by the male idol's old schools such as Taejeon elementary school, Gwaneum secondary school, and Gangbok high school.
