Netizens react to 'Burning Sun' reopening its doors this weekend

Article: [Exclusive] 'Burning Sun' changes sign and re-opens on Memorial Day... Taegeuk mark promotion

Source: Sports Kyunghyang via Naver

1. [+1,265, -6] How is this a country

2. [+590, -4] If you're human at all, you wouldn't be getting drunk and dancing on Memorial Day

3. [+278, -3] Such a sh*tty country

4. [+207, -3] How is this a country... Burning Sun should've been taken out of business!!!

5. [+203, -2] Crazy ㅡㅡ

6. [+87, -0] 10 years ago, entertainment establishments took one day off out of the year and it was Memorial Day. They recognized it as a day of sacrifice and felt that it was inappropriate to drink. I figured that at least they had their heads screwed on right. Since when did clubs ever open on Memorial Day?

7. [+60, -0] Just how high up are the connections that the police can't even investigate this properly

8. [+39, -0] Why would anyone still want to go to these clubs after seeing all the crime that has happened inside? Even having 1% brain function would make you realize not to go... how many dumb idiots are there in this country that this club is allowed to open doors still?! Parents with daughters must be suffering from high blood pressure right now.

9. [+38, -0] Don't be consumers... they will go out of business

10. [+34, -0] Any woman who goes there knowing what has happened... I have nothing more to say to her

That's one of the things that always bothered me about the Seungri situation. The investigation started because of allegations of drugging and raping women as well as other crimes for VIPs but absolutely nothing was investigated. If even a small percentage of the allegations were true, it's pretty safe to say that they were happening at other clubs as well.

Everyone concentrated on Seungri and JJY's chats and nothing about Burning Sun, Arena, or any number of Gangnam clubs. I feel that it was a smokescreen to protect VIPs.
