On Sunday June 2nd, BTS V's Chinese fan club KIMTAEHYUNGBAR announced that they broke the record of the fastest fundraising by a Chinese fan site through a single kpop channel.
KIMTAEHYUNGBAR is well-known for their large scale and outstanding birthday projects for V.To make his birthday even more special this year, they decided to start collecting fans's donations earlier to have time to plan for more amazing projects.
As soon as the fan club officially launched Kim Taehyung birthday fundraising project "Vionysus" on 1st June, it received a wide participation from Chinese fans and they amazingly gathered 1 Million Yuan (¥) in just 3.9 hours breaking the record of the fastest fundraising of a Chinese fanbase.
This makes V the ONLY member in BTS who receives over 1M CNY birthday support for FOUR consecutive years. Also, KIMTAEHYUNGBAR is the ONLY Chinese BTS fanbase who collected 1M CNY donations for THREE consecutive years.
The same fan club has already showed V's (Taehyung) great popularity in China and support to BTS by breaking the record of mass purchase of BTS's album Map Of The Soul: PERSONA as they bought 170K albums worth 2.6 billion Won.
