Actor Son Seung Won is seeking a lighter sentence on his DUI case.
On April 11, an associate judge of the Seoul Central District Court ruled a final sentence of 1 year and 6 months in prison for Song Seung Won, who is charged with attempting a hit-and-run while intoxicated with a suspended driver's license.
The final ruling is lighter than the 4-year sentence originally requested by the prosecutor, however, the actor has still filed an appeal request through his legal representative on April 15.
The appeal schedule is not yet announced.
