Kim Chung Ha is the first one up in reading project to help youth in need

Kim Chung Ha will be the first one up in the project 'Idols Reading, Connecting Hearts'.

The project is the first project that helps children in need who have been left out of cultural education benefits. Idols will be coming to read modern cultural works, to donate their voices toward a recording; a part of the proceeds from the project will be donated to the Foundation for the Rural Youth.

Kim Chung Ha read author Kim Ah Jung's 'Bright Night', a short novel about a high school student who moved to a rural village, made friends, and faced friction with her mother. Kim Chung Ha said, "I read it in a heartbeat. I believe it's a story that will resonate with many. It's my first time reading so it might be lacking, but I hope people listen."
