Kang Daniel's side has responded to reports of a 'Seol noona' affecting negotiations between the former Wanna One member and LM Entertainment.
Kang Daniel has filed to nullify his exclusive contract with LM Entertainment, and his agency is now claiming a business woman referred to as 'Seol Noona' has been pulling the strings in this ongoing conflict. On April 3, the idol star's legal reps released an official statement that states as follows:
"The truth will be revealed in court.
More than than anything, the questioning for the injunction is scheduled for April 5. As the truth will be revealed during questioning, I think it's not in our best interest to respond to their claims one by one at this point.
The key point of this injunction request is whether or not the label transferred rights of the exclusive contract with Kang Daniel to a third party without his consent and received compensation. The truth will be clear on this matter.
Not only is it unfortunate this problem had to go to court, Kang Daniel is also feeling very regretful and apologetic to fans because this unnecessary issue was escalated."
