First Lady Kim Jung Sook shares a message by her favorite band BTS to students in Washington D.C.

On April 11, South Korea's First Lady Kim Jung Sook visited Key Elementary School in Washington D.C. She participated in various activities that are offered by the Korean Culture Program at the institute.

During the Q&A session, one student asked, "Who is your favorite band?" The First Lady named BTS and also shared she has met them last year.

She then used RM's speech at the United Nations and shared, "BTS said, 'Maybe I made a mistake yesterday, but yesterday’s me is still me. I am who I am today, with all my faults. Tomorrow I might be a tiny bit wiser, and that’s me, too. Love yourself.' I also want to share this message with you."

RM's speech was really touching and inspiring and it's absolutely amazing that SK's first lady cited him.

That must be such a great honor for him and for BTS in general :)

I'm happy they are getting this much recognition for the messages they convey :)
