BTS has been named as the 2nd best selling artist in the world just behind Drake. Not only that but the success of Drake, BTS and Ariana Grande have helped the music industry earn its biggest revenues in a decade.
BTS also had the 2nd and 3rd best selling album of 2018 in the world.
The music market is now worth $19bn, close to the level of 2006, says the IFPI, which represents the global music industry.
In the space of 10 years, streaming revenues have grown from $40m to almost $9bn.

And yet, american award shows only put them as nominations for one or two awards... Whew chile, they outselling these popular artists and still have to work even harder to get the recognition.
