BTS is breaking all kinds of records with their new album!
On April 12, the Big Hit Entertainment boy group released 'Map of the Soul: Persona.' According to Hanteo, the new album sold over 1.38 million copies in just 3 hours. Album sales neared 1.5 million around 6 hours since its release. This makes 'Map of the Soul: Persona' the fastest selling album in Hanteo chart history. The Hanteo chart was first established in 1993. The all-time best selling album in Hanteo chart history is Kim Gun Mo's 1995 album 'Wrongful Encounter' which sold over 3.3 million copies.
Meanwhile, BTS is scheduled to perform their new title track "Boy With Luv" for the first time on NBC's 'Saturday Night Live.'
