INFINITE's Sungyeol has officially started up his mandatory military service.
On March 26, Sungyeol began his basic training at the 37th Infantry Division in North Chungcheung Province, and after 2 weeks, he'll be serving as an active-duty soldier. Though he planned to enter service quietly, he was asked about which girl group he wants to visit during his military service, and he answered, "I only want to see my labelmates Lovelyz. Lovelyz, please come visit."
He also shared the below photo of himself with Dongwoo, Sungjong, and his younger brother Golden Child's Daeyeol along with the message, "INSPIRIT, I'll be back. I love you." Fellow member Sungjong shared the below photos of Sungyeol before his enlistment as well.
Sungyeol previously posted a handwritten letter to fans. He's the second INFINITE member to serve following Sunggyu, and Dongwoo is expected to enlist this spring as well. Stay tuned for updates on INFINITE!
