On February 7, S.E.S's Shoo (38, Yoo Soo Young) and her legal representatives attended the second court hearing regarding the singer's habitual, illegal gambling case.
During this second hearing, police requested 1 year of penal servitude for Shoo on charges of illegal, overseas gambling between 2016-2018, involving over $700,000 USD. Shoo's legal representative continued to stress the singer's attitude of reflection after admitting to all charges, adding on that after debuting as a public figure in her teens, Shoo has never been involved in any major legal disputes until this case.
Shoo also stated in her final testimony, "Each day has been so long for the past few months. Due to my grave mistake, I was able to feel many things. I am deeply reflecting. I plan to reflect on my actions for much longer. I will face any sentence by the court willingly. I apologize again sincerely for causing a disturbance."
