Dolly Parton suggests a collaboration with BTS

DOLLY PARTON, BTS

Dolly Parton is open for collaboration with BTS!

On February 12 via Twitter, Dolly Parton shared the viral video of BTS jamming out to her and Miley Cyrus' "Jolenestage at the '2019 Grammy Awards,' and asked, "Maybe my next #Jolene collab will be with BTS? What do y'all think?"

Fans are loving the idea and commented, "Maybe they will and we'll all go to heaven," "That's the one genre BTS hasn't done," We're going country guys."

Hold on a minute. How about a little American pop culture trivia. Dolly Parton wrote one of the most famous #1 pop hits of all time. She wrote, "I Will Always Love You". When she released it in the 70's it hit #1 on the Country Charts. Later in the 90's Whitney Houston sang it and it became one of the best selling singles of all time. There has never been any dust on Dolly. BTS should be honored. I'm sure they are who wouldn't be.

nah, the clout chasing thing is so 2018 ESPECIALLY with a person like Dolly Parton. BTS is lucky to have her notice.

Dolly is VERY open to all kinds of music. Did you know she did a cover of Stairway to Heaven? LOL Not bad either.
I love Dolly a lot - and country music is NOT exactly my fav genre....

I'm a fan of Dolly, and I will admit that BTS has some good songs-although I tend to listen to the older songs more.

But having BTS sing one of Dolly's songs right next to her sounds terrible. I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I'm not saying this to start fights, but I just don't see a way that this could happen and not end up with backlash on one side.
