Netizens are claiming that YG's clarifications do not match up with facts + calling for an investigation into YGE

Netizens are not believing YG's clarifications into the ongoing 'Burning Club' controversy.

After reading YG's clarifications about Seungri's club netizens replied saying, "It's so ridiculous that Seungri only resigned because of his upcoming army enlistment. He never mentioned the army at all recently but now suddenly he has plans to enlist? Then why hasn't he resigned from Aori Ramen too? And why did his mother resign from the club when Seungri's the one who has to go serve? None of their words are matching up."

Other netizens spoke up saying, "Just because he wasn't there doesn't absolve him of his responsibility. The point of the issue isn't whether he went home or used drugs at the club or not...it's what connections the club has with the police." Also, why are all the drug scandals in the country involving YG? from GD, Park Bom, famous stylists, composers...and now Seungri's club? Do you really think is all a coincidence? What relationship does YG have with the police?"

Many netizens are even questioning why this scandal isn't on the search rankings saying, "Isn't YG Naver's second-biggest stockholder? Is that why this has been completely erased from the search rankings? Every article that gets put up is taken back down. Stop distracting from the issue and answer what's going on with the police bribery and date rape drugs being used in the club."

It seems that the netizens are not believing YG's clarifications about the issue and want a statement directly from Seungri on what is going on and whether the club colluded with the Police to cover up the assault and drug allegations. Many are also calling for an investigation into YG Entertainment as a whole.

Stay tuned for more details.

I smell a witchhunt. It's a big deal only because Seungri's name is connected to the club. Doesn't matter that he wasn't there. Doesn't matter that he didn't have active control over the club or management. Doesn't matter that YGE doesn't have control over the personal business of their artists (even though netizens constantly claim YGE controls them too much). SR's name is connected, so that's enough to drag both SR and YGE through the mud. YG explained the resignation and netizens use SR's mother as "proof?" How about SR's mother not wanting to work there when SR is no longer involved? Makes sense she'd leave when he did.

EVERYTHING EXPLAINED + RECEIPTS

THE CLAIMS: After being thrown out of BS, a man named Kim claimed he was trying to save a woman from being drugged and sexual assaulted inside the club. His proof was a video of said woman being dragged out.

The TRUTH about the WOMAN:

- she was drunk and hit staff inebriated & was dragged out (on 1/12)

- she has since written an appology letter and bought a laptop to replace the one she destroyed

(translation of a Letter From The Security):

"The woman provoked and attacked other guests, and broke the laptop when we were trying to stop her. When she was brought out, before the police came, I was beside her. She hit me and another staff by the face with her fist, we didn’t do anything. She was rude to the police as well. She was brought to the police station due to vandalism, violence and interference of public duties. The next day, she paid compensations and wrote a letter and bought a new computer."

The TRUTH about KIM:

- BS threw him out because he harassed women in the club (on 24/11)

- Kim already had two precedents of sexual misconduct in December. The police finished the initial round of investigation but on the 2nd round of investigation, he wouldn't participate anymore. He denied the accusation on the first round of investigation then postponed his attendance for further investigations (which is needed so the case could go forward) but he postponed saying he's not physically well

- from the footage released by Burning Sun we can see him following a woman in the club. Two policemen who responded at the incident that night decided to sue him for defamation

The TRUTH about SEUNGRI:

- he was never the CEO

- he is an investor and only a publicity representative of the club, so he has no says in how the club is managed

- he manages only Aori Ramen and his DJ label

- he left at 3am on the night of the Kim incident, which happened at 6am, so he was not there

- he didn’t know about the incident when it happened hence his question "Is this the place the press is covering?” on Jan 20

- he recently resigned as an executive director of the club in order to comply with laws regarding military service as his military enlistment is approaching in March or April

- he had already said back in October at the press conference for YGFSO Netlix show that he would enlist early this year

- he was tested for drugs (hair and urine), because of the allegations, and was cleared

- he hasn't said anything yet because YG told him to remain mute until the situation is clear

The TRUTH about Burning Sun:

- the most recent update of the company analysis report is from 2018/05 and proves there were at the time only two CEOs, the current ones: Lee Moonho and Lee Seonghyun (not Lee Seunghyun, which is Seungri's real name)

- the president is Song Won-Woo

IN CONCLUSION: Demand answers from the right people and leave Seungri out of it
