3 different individuals revealed to have received court sentences for illegal drug usage related to club 'Burning Sun'

Media outlets have discovered detailed reports of three individuals who received court sentencing for illegal drug usage back in 2018, all three of which took place inside club 'Burning Sun'.

Currently, the club is under suspicions of illegal drug administration and distribution. Back in July of 2018, an individual 'A' (29) was sentenced by the Supreme court to 3 years of house arrest, and 2 years and 6 months of imprisonment if they violate any house arrest regulations within the 3 years. 'A' was discovered to have used illegal marijuana at club 'Burning Sun' in May of 2018.

Another individual 'B' (30) was also charged with illegal marijuana usage at club 'Burning Sun' in March of 2018, receiving a court sentence of house arrest for 2 years with 1 year of imprisonment if they violate house arrest regulations in May of the same year.

Finally, individual 'C' - an employee of 'Burnign Sun' - was revealed to have faced charges for three different accounts of selling illegal marijuana prior to his employment at the club. 'C' was sentenced in 2013 with a fine of 2,000,000 KRW, in 2014 with 6 months of house arrest, and in November of 2016 with a fine of 7,000,000 KRW.

Meanwhile, Big Bang member Seungri recently withdrew from his position as a director of 'Burning Sun'.

Its not shocking that all clubs have drugs involved this is only news because of a celebrity. If there wasn't a celebrity then you won't hear this on the news.

I don't understand why Seungri invest in a club. If i were a celebrity, i would not own or invest in club because it has higher chance to ruin my image. There are always problems in club. That's why, people say artist are not smart.

It's actually easy to understand coming off from a club enthusiast named Sungri. I think everyone knew he loves clubbing.

It’s really gross that the focus of this story became drugs and not the alleged rapes. Rape is much more serious than weed, get your shit together!

because the rape story got disproved. She was a woman stealing drinks off VIP table, got belligerent and was dragged out and handed over to police. She paid for the laptop she broke and wrote a letter of apology the next day.

does that mean she tried to disguise her theft with a false rape accusation?

No. A man named Kim said he tried to save a woman from being drugged and raped but that's not what happened. She was dragged out of the club as was drunk and caused commotions (destroyed computer, hit staff)

ur completely right rape is something that is a really big deal... but sadly in korea drugs are a bigger deal than rape, while in the us rape is a bigger deal than drugs. to be completely honest drugs are a more common thing in the us because it is easier for people to gain access to it compared to people in korea.

The "Meanwhile, Big Bang member Seungri recently withdrew from his position as a director of Burning Sun" kind of leads you to believe he's running away when it's actually because of his military service that he had to resign. The rest of the article is very nice though

A distribute drugs

B use drugs

C sell drugs

finally, oh Seungri stepped down as director, nothing to do with the article really, but we really need to include his name here. LOL

the clicks yall want by putting his name is obvious like a sore thumb

Because Seungri stepped down 5 days ago as director he has nothing to do with what happened and who he employed during his time working there? I guess you don't have to be accountable for crimes that happen under your watch as long as you quit before they are reported.

How do you want him to be accountable? By being fired? What? If it's a fine, the company will pay by court rulings. So how else is he supposed to be responsible when he wasn't there or involved? Ya'll are just jumping on him because he is a celebrity. And it is frankly disgusting. No company can know absolutely everything about their employees. All they can do, when they find out is fire them and let them be arrested. And the crimes didn't happen under his watch but the manger of the club at that time.

But see, WE DON'T KNOW what happened behind the scenes, management-wise. We don't know how much Seungri was involved with everything since he was not the ONLY person in charge. But my bigger concern is - why is everyone focused on SEUNGRI rather than the actual crime that happened and the person that did it?

it seems it was fated to happen the moment you decide to open a club and mix Alchohol and dance and nightlife. it’s not that all clubs have relationship with drugs. but you need to handle the business closely if you want to keep an eye on such issues. but seungri just is too busy to pay attention and that’s when things get out of control in your business.

Well this is nothing new it's an open secret this happens in the majority of the clubs so... also I think seungri really messed up by investing in a club he knows he's a celebrity so at the minimal mistake people will judge him

They keep on mentioning that Seungri resigned from this buisness because of the scandal but don't mention that he also resigned from all his other buisnesses. They keep on ignoring this fact to keep the narrative that he resigned because of the BS scandal?

Btw, why are they only checking the drug cases ? What about the raping and sexual herrassment? Are they for real ?

I'm guessing they didn't have DARE seminars at your school. Marijuana is constantly heralded as a gateway drug by researchers.
