Momoland's JooE drops charges against those spreading online rumors that she was a school bully

Momoland, JooE
Momoland's JooE has officially forgiven those who had previously been spreading rumors about her school years online.

On December 3, the idol submitted a petition to the court through her legal representation to drop the charges against those involved.

According to MLD Entertainment, JooE decided to drop the charges after the two who had spread the rumors reflected on their actions and publically apologized to her.

Meanwhile, last January, two people were caught spreading online rumors that JooE was a middle school bully who drank, smoke, and was involved in school violence.

Are y'all dumb? You do know it takes time and money to press charges. It's not free fucking game. You can't just sue someone, you need money to sue. Also read the article and the other articles "she decided to drop the charges after the two who had spread the rumors reflected on their actions and publicly apologized to her." There's no reason to sue when they fessed up. It's a waste of time, effort and money.

if she had won, the loser's side would've had to pay her fees.

don't know how it works in korea but at a hearing pretty sure the plaintiff (which would be jooe) would pay the filing fee. in the case of her then winning the case, she would be reimbursed by the defendant the amount she has already paid and then the principal amount of the judgement.

so it's risky because if no resolute decision is made, a plaintiff has paid for a lawyer and has paid the filing fee. even then, in the case of winning, the awarded sum may not actually amount to much.

and regardless, a lot of time is wasted.

This is very suspicious... Now I am wondering if the rumors are true and the victim had evidence and so they decided to drop it and make her look like a saint in the situation when in reality the company didn’t want another scandal like the BTS one.

it clearly states that she chose to not go through with this because the two charged people apologized to her for lying.

She looks like one of those masculine female bullies you'd get in school. And before you reply to this nnani, yes I've read the whole article, bitch, I'm just saying she looks like one.

How can somebody "look" like a bully? xD You do realize those are stereotypes right? xD (though i'm not exactly sure how she looks like a bully by that definition either). Bringing some, probably unwanted education here though, the first time researchers have attributed biological/phyisical stereotypes to "deviants" (criminals or bullies or people with deviant tendencies overall) has been back in the 19th century by phrenologists, later the theory being developed by somebody called Cesare Lombroso who thought he identified the "born deliquent" simply by the way they looked entirely ignoring the portion of deviants and average people that didn't fit that criteria, so that thing stuck till the 20th century when the School of Chicago started doing researches on-site and overcame that stigmatization deeming it discriminatory. Unfortunately it still stuck with the average public though because mindless categorization is strong in us and we're resistent to change. (sometimes I'm happy to have studied at a social studies university lol)

We could also assume that the moon is made of cheese and the sea is dry but that doesn't make it true.

I don't know if the label is that big that they could bully people into retracting allegations the way companies like SM could.

She did great to sue them and was very generous to forgive them. This kind of accusation can harm someone career In see what happened to bully sluts T-ara who bullied my unni Hwayoung and the bully scandal ruined their career. Bully band T-ara was disbanded and bully girls career is now in hiatus

ironic, coming from one of the worst haters and racist bigblueagain, who even uses multiple accounts like bangeryun94 and ryenlux for his daily hate rants and is only here to hate on south korea and korean artists, out of jealousy because kpop is getting bigger and bigger...
