The 'Daesang' (Grand Prize) nominees for the '2018 KBS Entertainment Awards' have been revealed.
On December 17, the '2018 KBS Entertainment Awards' announced, "This year, many entertainers were active on KBS variety programs again. Out of all, we have chosen 5 entertainers for the 'Daesang' nominees."
The nominees are comedian Kim Jun Ho of '1 Night 2 Days' and 'Gag Concert,' Shin Dong Yup of 'Immortal Song' and 'Hello Counselor,' soccer player Lee Dong Guk of 'Superman is Back,' Lee Young Ja of 'Hello Counselor,' and Yoo Jae Suk of 'Happy Together.'
Since its establishment in 2002, only two women were nominated for the KBS 'Daesang.' Lee Young Ja will become the first female winner in the ceremony's history if she wins this year. Yoo Jae Suk and Shin Dong Yup each have won the 'Daesang' twice on KBS. Kim Jun Ho has also won the 'Daesang' once in 2013. Meanwhile, this year is the first time Lee Dong Guk has been nominated for the 'Daesang.'
The '2018 KBS Entertainment Awards' with MCs AOA's Seolhyun, Shin Hyun Joon, and Yoon Si Yoon is scheduled to take place on December 22 at 9:20 pm KST.
