Key says he realized it was time to leave SHINee's dorm when he wanted to hit Minho for no reason

Key, Minho
Key shared what made him consider leaving SHINee's dorm.

During the November 8 SM Entertainment special of KBS2's 'Happy Together 4,' Baekhyun shared that EXO members used to have weekly dorm meetings to discuss concerns and complaints they have for one another.

Hearing this, Key shared about SHINee, and said, "SHINee members try to find one another's flaws if one calls out something. One time, one person told me that I walk weird. It was ridiculous."

He continued, "One time, Minho came out of his room. I just wanted to run to him and hit him on the head. Minho didn't do anything though, and that's when I realized that I needed to leave the dorm."

Key's brain: Hit Minho.

Key: Why?

Key's brain: You gotta.

Thoughts like this are very real. It'll be shocking and fascinating to me if there are any roommates who don't wanna tear each other part. I totally understand Key and props to him for taking the initiative to leave. It can save a relationship too.

Living in such close quarters -- being together 24/7 -- gets old really fast. Even if you like your housemates, the smallest things become super-irritating when dealt with every day.

Few married couples eat, sleep, live, and work together every hour of every day. It's those separations, when one or both partners head off to their jobs or individual hobbies (sports or friends, for example), that help keep a relationship strong. After a busy day, it's comforting to return home to your loved one.

However, at the point that groups are co-habitating in dorms, they're usually:

1. Very immature -- at least several years younger than most newlyweds.
2. Missing home, where mom and dad helped take care of them, and assisted in problem-solving on a regular basis.
3. Used to having their own things and their own space -- being able to step away for a moment to breathe, see friends, goof off, whatever. Like regular kids.

That's VERY different from the situations of these young idols and trainees who are expected to live as a unit nearly every moment: sleeping together, eating together, traveling together, practicing together, performing together, most hours of every day.

Plus being constantly scrutinized and judged by their management and the general public.

If you can't see the difference between that lifestyle, and living as a normal married couple or family -- if you don't understand how much more stress these group members are under . . . then I don't know how to explain it to you.

Marry so well that you can afford a huge house and soundproof rooms or that they're far away and indulge in alone time when needed.

But the difference is these men were put together by a company. Yes they chose to enter the agreement (contract) but they didn't choose their partners.

Hahhaha that's funny. That's how long they've been living together, the fact that he has no reason to hit his mate is the sole realization that he needs to move out. All pranks and jokes can start happening when you start hitting your friends lol. I wish he stayed, it would have been a better story to hear what Min Ho would have done after the ordeal.
