New girl group S#aFLA is making their debut this fall.
On October 11, VINE Entertainmentannounced, "4-member girl group S#aFLA is releasing a new album and making their official debut on the 18th."
S#aFLA is a shortened word for 'sharps and flats' - the black keys of a keyboard. There are 5 black keys and they're known to produce the "most Korean sound". In foreign music, they're commonly used to make a musical piece more sophisticating. Overall, S#aFLA means the group will produce music with the most Korean sound that will also be sophisticating to foreigners.
The members Soohyun, Seulgi, Yoojin, and Jisun(formerly a member of Girl's Day) dream of becoming the next big K-pop quartet following the footsteps of SISTARand MAMAMOO. Theywill be making their debut on October 18.
