On October 5, WM Entertainment announced that their contract with solo singer I (Cha Yoon Ji) has come to an end.

I (Cha Yoon Ji) is well known as B1A4 member Baro's younger sister. She debuted in January of 2017 as a solo artist with her 1st mini album 'I Dream', before participating in survival program 'The Unit'. WM Entertainment shared, "After a lengthy discussion about I's further musical direction and future, we have come to an agreement to end our management duties with her. We ask for your continued love and attention toward I, as we cheer for her upcoming days."
I delivered her personal thoughts regarding her contract termination via her Instagram. She wrote, "Breaking free from the fence, this is the start of Cha Yoon Ji, not I. I have made a huge decision, and although I may be so lacking that I make numerous mistakes, I will have courage and take small step after step in an effort to become close once again with my fans."
