It turns out that the earlier report of a new short film starring IU and Bae Doo Na is part of a much larger project.

On September 12, shortly after news of IU and Bae Doo Na's short film casting news, Mystic Entertainment stepped up to describe their upcoming project in further detail. The label began, "We will be producing an original series in partnership with 4 top Korean film directors and leading actress IU."
Director Lim Pil Sung of 'Antarctic Journal', director Lee Kyung Mi of 'Crush and Blush', director Kim Jong Kwan of 'The Table', and director Jeon Go Woon of 'Microhabitat' will each direct one short film, each dealing with a different topic and concept. The 4 short films will ultimately come together and premiere as a series.
This not only marks IU's first ever film debut, but also the first ever, short film original series project by 4 unique directors. Mystic added, "It will be very interesting to see how all 4 directors depict one leading actress."
