Maroo Entertainment has announced BONUSbaby will be going on a hiatus.
The label said, "Hello, this is Maroo Entertainment. First, we apologize to the fans who love and cherish BONUSbaby, and bring you sad news. Kongyoo thought a lot about her future, and she has decided to focus on her studies for her dreams. She and the label went through multiple talks, and after much deliberation, we have decided to respect Kongyoo's decision. We hope Kongyoo happiness and luck in her new challenges, and ask fans to support her."
The label also announced, "Considering Kongyoo's leave, the members' futures, and the members' studies, BONUSbaby will be taking a short hiatus. Please understand that all we can tell you currently is that there are many factors. We will continue to support the members' individual activities, and the girls will be meeting fans through individual promotions. We ask for the fans' unchanging love and support to the remaining members. We apologize once again for bringing such news to fans. Thank you."
