Actor Joo Ji Hoon may finally be seeing his prime.
For August 8th, 'Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days' took the first place in the Korean box office with 395,661 moviegoers - an impressive feat considering it was Tuesday and it had opened in theaters a week ago. This brings the movie a step closer to 10 million total watchers. At #2 was 'The Spy Gone North', which opened on the 8th, with 333,490 moviegoers.

Both movies have Joo Ji Hoon in its leading cast, meaning that the model-turned-actor who had quite a tumultuous career may finally be seeing his prime. 'Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days' also has Ha Jung Woo, Kim Hyang Ki, Ma Dong Suk, Kim Dong Wook, and EXO's D.O. in its leading cast. 'The Spy Gone North' additionally has Hwang Jung Min, Lee Sung Min, and Jo Jin Woong in its leading cast.
