The date of the first court trial between Happy Face Entertainment and YG Entertainment has been confirmed.
On August 11 KST, media outlets revealed that Happy Face Entertainment and YG Entertainment will enter into their first court trial on August 30. As reported back in June, Happy Face Entertainment sued YGE for cancelling 'MIXNINE's debut. A day later, YGE fired back with a counter-sue, claiming that all companies from the debut team had already come to an agreement beforehand.
This trial, which will take place on August 30, will be administered at the Seoul Central District Court as a civil case. Happy Face Entertainment's lawsuit demands 10,000,000 KRW (~$9,000) in damages from YGE.
