BTOB's Eunkwang spoke up about his military enlistment.
On August 6, Cube Entertainment confirmed to Herald Pop, "BTOB's leader Eunkwang is enlisting as an active-duty soldier on August 21."
The agency added, "Eunkwang desires to enlist quietly, therefore, we decided not to reveal the enlistment time and location." Regarding his remaining schedule including his musical and Taiwan concert, Cube stated, "Casting change will have to take place for the musical and nothing is yet confirmed for his other schedules."

Eunkwang also shared a comment through the agency, and said, "I'm greatly apologetic to the fans who're probably shocked by my sudden enlistment news. I have made many promises with my fans. I'm sorry about the ones I couldn't keep. I'm so sorry," and added, "I will keep the promises after completing the nation's duty."
