The man who sent death threats to TWICE revealed the reason why.
Fans reported the post to JYP Entertainment, which then took legal action. And just recently, the agency confirmed the person who sent the threatshas been arrested.

In July 2017, a netizen shared threatening posts on online community Ilbe with the title 'TWICE left our country and is making tons of money in Japan'. The netizen stated, "Don't come to Korea again because I'll be waiting in the airport with 10L of acid."
Fans reported the post to JYP Entertainment, which then took legal action. And just recently, the agency confirmed the person who sent the threatshas been arrested.
During the investigation, the man in his early 20s told the police, "I sent threats because I was in a rage when I heard about them debuting in Japan."
