On July 26, the cast and staff of JTBC's upcoming drama 'My ID is Gangnam Beauty' attended its premiere press conference.
During the press conference, male lead ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo opened up about his character Do Kyung Suk with, "Kyung Suk is a cool character who is even called a 'face genius' in the webtoon, so I'm honored and thankful to have been cast as Kyung Suk. I am acting with the heart to want to become a friend as closest to Kyung Suk as possible."
To criticism from original webtoon fans claiming that Cha Eun Woo's idol image does not fit with the cold and snarky Do Kyung Suk, Cha Eun Woo stated, "I've seen people saying that my image and Kyung Suk's image are too different, but we have a big similarity in that we are both very honest. I am working hard to become Kyung Suk-fied."
