Big Hit Entertainment has announced the label is taking legal action against malicious comments about BTS.
On June 15, Big Hit posted to BTS' official fan cafe, "Since 2016, we've actively cooperated with fans in order to take legal action against malicious slander, comments, false rumors, and defamatory posts against BTS that are spread online and on social media... most cases have received criminal punishment without settlement, while others are still under investigation."
The agency continued, "We will continue to monitor and collect evidence to take strong legal action against malicious netizens who defame our artists and harass them maliciously and habitually."
