Steven Yeunonce again delivered an apology for his mistake.
On May 18, the director and cast members of 'Burning' had an interview with a Korean media outlet. At the end of the interview, Steven Yeun mentioned the recent controversy and said,
"Regarding the incident that happened a few days ago, it's something that I should've known but I made a decision too quickly. I want to deliver words of apology. I'm sorry. I'm sincerely embarrassed and apologetic. The issue opened a new eye for me. I regret it and I'm sorry. I should've known better. Once again, I want to say I'm sorry."
The Korean-American actor was heavily criticized for liking a post with the Japanese rising sun flag on Instagram.
