Actor and music show MC A (21) is reportedly under investigation for sexually molesting a female colleague and threatening her with a weapon.
According to reports, Seoul's Gwangjin Police Station investigated A for sexually violating and brandishing a weapon against a female colleague on May 8. On the 16th, a rep from the police stated, "The victim was a female celebrity. At the beginning of this month, a complaint against A was filed at the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors office."
Reports say that during a gathering that involved alcohol, A attempted to kiss and make other physical contact with female colleague B, who rejected his advances. Despite the rejections, A did not stop attempting physical contact, and B made a phone call to her boyfriend for help. This angered A, who began threatening B with a weapon.
Police stated, "A underwent police questioning when he was very drunk. He even cursed and shouted at the police officer in charge of him." A's agency has stated, "We don't know anything about these reports, and we're contacting the person himself. He's in the middle of filming, so it will take time. After finding out the facts, we'll make sure to arrange things so the projects he's associated with are not effected."
A is currently hosting a major network's music show and has starred in multiple dramas.
