On March 19, Wanna One was met with harsh criticism after their conversation in the waiting room accidentally aired live on Mnet's 'Star Live'. Wanna One, YMC Entertainment, and Mnet all officially apologized for the issue; however, many netizens, as well as fans, have turned their backs in disappointment.

According to OSEN, Wanna One recently met with the affiliates of CJ E&M and YMC Entertainment after their comeback show. The meeting took place to discuss various issues, especially the recent live broadcast controversy.
The members took time to reflect on their behavior, and several members reportedly shed tears.
Wanna One has just now kicked off promotions for "Boomerang". The recent controversy is, unfortunately, expected to continue to bring a detrimental effect in their promotions.
