As a singer-songwriter, IU is the voice behind a lot of popular hits, so it's no wonder Lee Seung Gi is interested in a collaboration. In an interview on March 8, Lee Seung Gi answered questions about hoobae artists he wants to work with, saying, "There are so many. Personally, I want to work with IU. I like her sensitivity as an artist. At least, I'd like her to write lyrics for me in the future."
Lee Seung Gi, who returned from his military service in October of last year, also discussed IU's popularity among army servicemen. On when IU performed at his military base, he shared, "The whole unit went crazy at the time. I asked Psy to perform, and he talked to IU as well. She readily agreed, so I was very thankful."
He further revealed he's planning on making a comeback as a singer as well, saying, "I have a concept I'm thinking about. I need more time before it'll be ready. I'd like to release it within the year. It's too hard to choose between acting, singing, and variety shows. They all have their positives and negatives, and what I want to do changes depending on the situation."
Lee Seung Gi recently wrapped up the tvN drama 'Hwayugi'. Did you watch the finale?
