Currently, Kim Heung Kook is the MC of TV Chosun program 'Point In Success' and web variety show 'God of K-Pop Chart'. Reports state that Kim Heung Kook has been entirely edited out on both programs.
In response to the reports, a rep of 'Point In Success' told Sports Chosun, "We're going toward (the option of) editing him out. Kim Heung Kook stepping down from the show is being discussed."
A rep from 'God of K-Pop Chart' also stated, "It's true that Kim Heung Kook has been entirely edited out. It's a program for viewers of all ages so we edited out all of his appearances."

In addition, Kim Heung Kook was scheduled to guest on new tvN variety show 'We Are the One'. He has already completed filming for the show, however, tvN announced the episode with Kim Heung Kook will be skipped. A rep of tvN stated, "We decided not to broadcast the episode with Kim Heung Kook due to the social issues."
Recently, a woman claimed she was sexually assaulted by Kim Heung Kook. The veteran singer strongly denied all accusations and claimed the woman asked to borrow money. In response to Kim Heung Kook's denial, the woman expressed anger and claimed the singer is lying. Meanwhile, Kim Heung Kook's side announced they'll be taking legal action against the woman for false accusation.
