Defconn talked about how he mistakenly thought Heechul was gay.
On the March 29 airing of tvN's 'Life Bar', MC Shin Dong Yup commented, "Heechul claims he's the one who actually exposed Defconn to the public, not Jung Hyung Don."
To this, Defconn said, "In the past, I guested on a radio show while Heechul was the DJ. That was the first time I saw him but he acted like he was so close to me."
Defconn continued, "I used to promote hardcore music in the past. I favored rough music and Heechul even knew my songs and liked me so much. He expressed one-way affection often, making me wonder if he likes me as a guy."

Shin Dong Yup teasingly commented, "Yup, there were (gay) rumors in the past."
