Yang Hyun Suk revealed to have paid off a debt of 150,000 USD in place of former Seo Taiji and the Boys member Lee Juno

Throughout last year, Lee Juno faced trials for two criminal cases - one involving a debt of 165,000,000 KRW (~ 153,000 USD) unpaid, and another involving the indecent assault of two females at a club in Itaewon. Due to his involvement in both criminal cases, Lee Juno's first trial by the Seoul Central District Court sentenced him to approximately one year and 6 months in prison. However, ahead of his second trial, Yang Hyun Suk stepped up to pay the debt amount of 165,000,000 KRW to the involved parties, then submitted evidence documenting that the debt has been paid to the court. 

As a result, Lee Juno was able to evade a prison sentence for being guilty in two separate criminal charges. Instead, he has been sentenced to one year and 2 months of possible prison time if he commits any more crimes in the next 2 years. Lee Juno's second trial also sentenced Lee Juno to 120 hours of community service, as well as 40 hours of sexual violence program treatment. 

Reports also claimed that Yang Hyun Suk carried out this deed personally, separate from YG Entertainment.
