1PUNCH was a youth hip-hop duo consisting of members Samuel Kim and ONE. The duo ultimately disbanded. Samuel Kim remained under Brave Entertainment while ONE moved onto a new label. Currently, ONE is a solo artist under YG Entertainment.

During a Naver V Live broadcast on January 16, Samuel Kim looked back on his life and commented, "1PUNCH's disbandment was a crisis in my life." When the MC asked if he still keeps in contact with the fellow 1PUNCH member, Samuel Kim replied, "I'm not able to talk to him because we're so busy."
Samuel Kim also talked about the past trainee days at Pledis Entertainment where he trained with the Seventeen members. Samuel Kim said, "I talk to Seventeen hyungs when I run into them at music shows."
He continued, "To Seventeen hyungs, there are many things that I'm thankful for. They were really nice to me when we used to train together so I was able to engage in training happily. It was really nice to see them at music shows after I made my solo debut."
