Mnet shared some news on its upcoming idol-survival program, 'Produce 48'.
A representative of Mnet commented on January 9, "Ahn Joon Young PD will be in charge of directing 'Produce 48'. The first recording will take place within this year."

Previously, Ahn PD was responsible for directing both Season 1 and 2 of 'Produce 101', as the show gained much attention among the masses.
Meanwhile, 'Produce 48' will be a joint project by Korea and Japan and will feature popular Japanese idol group AKB48.
The new variety program is slated for broadcast in the first half of 2018.
