Mnet�shared some news on its upcoming idol-survival program, 'Produce 48'.
A representative of Mnet commented on January 9, "Ahn Joon Young PD will be in charge of directing 'Produce 48'.� The first recording will take place within this year."

Previously, Ahn PD was responsible for directing both Season 1 and 2 of 'Produce 101', as the show gained much attention among the masses.
Meanwhile, 'Produce 48' will be a joint project by Korea and Japan and will feature popular Japanese idol group AKB48.
The new variety program is slated for broadcast in the first half of 2018.
