The singer was asked various questions about her solo career, as wEll as her former 2NE1 days. It's been over a year since the girl group has disbanded; however, many still remember Minzy with the strong, energetic image as 2NE1's maknae. 

Regarding this, Minzy commented, "People remember me as the girl with a short bob wearing oversized shirts and leggings. That tag is a bit heavy but that is also part of me. I believe people remembering and loving [my old 2NE1 image] all symbolize interest."

She also shared more about her former group. Minzy said, "2NE1 is my root. If 2NE1 didn't exist, then I also wouldn't have existed. It was a process that completed me." 

Minzy continued, "There were also slumps. There were times when it felt like it didn't work even after practic,e and I was just remaining at the same position. This applies to both singing and dancing. If I didn't improve myself then I had no choice but to stay in the same spot. But I think I've let go of such pressures. 2NE1 was an idol group but it also had strong characteristics of an artist. Instead of worrying about popularity or winning awards, I want to naturally do my music and meet people who love my music. I came to focus and love music even more after letting down the pressure."
