Kim Jong Kook to reveal his single life on 'My Ugly Duckling'

'My Ugly Duckling' is popular among families and viewers past their thirties, recording the highest viewer ratings for its time slot on Sundays with an average rating of 18-20%. The show allows viewers to observe the single lifestyles of male celebrities well over their late thirties, who have yet to be married. Another interesting factor of the show is that the celebrities' very own mothers observe their sons, trying to figure out why their sons can't find good marriage partners. 

Back in August of 2017, Kim Jong Kook appeared as a special MC on 'My Ugly Duckling' and said, "I kept thinking I needed to get married when I turned 35, but it didn't turn out that way. I don't prefer to be single by choice. I want to get married."
