On December 29, Cube Entertainment officially stated, "We're letting you know that BTOB's Yook Sungjae will be halting all activities because of a back injury. We're sorry that we have to bring this news to BTOB fans about Yook Sungjae's injury. Back on December 27, Yook Sungjae experienced back pain and was taken to the hospital for medical attention. He is now recovering."
The agency claimed that Sungjae will be temporarily halting his promotions with BTOB.

The label continued, "Once again, we would like to apologize to fans for the sudden news and will make sure Yook Sungjae recovers accordingly and greet fans after recovering."
Until Sungjae fully recovers, BTOB will be promoting as 6 members for the time being.
