EXO member Lay will be acting alongside Chinese actress Tang Wei in a new historical drama.
On December 28, 'Empress of the Ming' staff revealed that Lay will be playing the role of�Zhu Qizhen, son of Empress�Sun Ruowei (Tang Wei).�Many are looking forward to the mother-son relationship between Tang Wei and Lay.

Previously starring in numerous films/dramas, this will be the idol star's first time acting in a historical setting, leading to much anticipation. �
Consisting of 60 episodes, 'Empress of the Ming' is scheduled to air in 2019.�
