The November 28 episode of tvN's 'Youth Over Flowers' showed the members watching a beautiful scene of whales swimming in the ocean. WINNER expressed amazement after spotting a baby whale practicing his jumping skills with his mother.
Back in their dorms, Kim Jin Woo talked about the mesmerizing moment and explained how the baby whale in ongoing practice reminded him of his trainee days.
Kim Jin Woo revealed, "I've once cried after hearing my own voice. Because it was so weird... That was when I was 20-years-old. It sounded so weird. It sounded like I couldn't sing and I didn't have confidence so I cried big time."
He opened up more, continuing, "I felt like I wasn't fulfilling my duty as the oldest hyung (in the group). I wasn't composing or writing songs. I felt like I lacked participation in the team. So I tried to find something else that I could do so I practiced, took vocal lessons... I wanted to receive compliments from my fellow members. Because I was always bad... And I've also was a harm to my members. Not anymore but I wasn't satisfied with myself and felt like I was falling behind..."
