Top Places to Visit in Korea if you're a K-POP Fan

1. Garden of Morning Calm
The beautiful Garden of Morning Calm is a place to be, especially if you love any of the following movies or dramas. If you stop by not only will you get to see a beautiful sight but you'll also get to live in the KDrama, movie, and variety shows that you love!

A very classic and lovable drama, Coffee Prince is known for their sweet love story and complicated relationships.But their coffee shop is probably one of the cutest and most magical looking places that all Kdrama fans should check out.
3. Everland
Amusement parks are always a solid location to visit. So why not visit an amusement park that your favorite variety show took place. Everland, home to various games and activities, also was the location for the occasional Running Man episode. Why not check it out and relive all the places the members hid at and the missions they had to complete?
4. Naksan Park
This historical and beautiful park presents a magnificent view of the entire city and is a great place for walks in the natural beauty of the mountains. Naksan Park was also the filming site for various dramas such as My Lovely Girl, The King 2 Hearts, Feast of the Gods, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Rooftop Prince, and much more. Stop by to appreciate a bit of nature and feel like you're living in a Korean Drama.
5. Goguryeo Blacksmith Village
For those that love the historical look of old Korea, this is the place to go. Through a short path in the forests, you'll reach the intricately designed village that was a set location for various dramas such as Legend, Secret Garden, Faith, and Dr. Jin.
6. Hallyu K Star Road
The famous KPOP neighborhood is lined with bear statues known as the Gangnam Dols that bear the names and logos of various KPOP groups. Follow down the path to find the Gangnam Dol with your idol's logos and visit restaurants and stores where you can get plenty of merchandise and maybe spot an idol.
7. Entertainment Companies
One of the biggest things that all KPOP fans hope for is a slight glimpse of their lovable idols. The Entertainment Companies is the place to be!! As part of the Hallyu KStar Road, many fans gather to visit the companies that developed the artists they have come to love. SM, FNC, Cube, and JYP can be found near each other in Cheongdam while YG can be found in Hongdae.
8. SMTown Coex Artium
For the SM fans, there is no place you would want to be than at SMTown Coex Artium. Here you will be able to enjoy the SUM cafe with pastries and drinks named after your favorite artists while shopping for official merchandise at the SUM Store. You can even receive professional training at the studios or watch hologram shows and live concerts!
9. KLIVE at Lotte FITIN in Dongdaemun
Do you love YG or JYP? Did you miss out on snagging tickets for their concerts? Don't worry!! K-Live has realistic hologram concerts of your favorite artists where you can catch a free music concert to live out your biggest KPOP Dream!

Every fan goes to Korea in hopes of catching a concert or two but not all manage to do so as they are quite expensive. So for those on a limited budget these music shows are free! However, it does require a lot of patience and dedication as you must register online and wait for the random raffle result. Check out SBS's Inkigayo, KBS's Music Bank, and MNET's Show! Music Core to learn more about this once in a lifetime opportunity.
11. Celebrity owned Cafes
As fans, we live to support and love our idols as they do things they enjoy. Many idols have expanded their name and brand to restaurants and cafes either owned by themselves or their family members. Many fans gather to support their favorite idols and hopefully catch a glimpse of their idols. Some of the top cafes are JYJ Jaejoong's Cafe J Holic in Myeongdong, EXO Kai's KAMONG cafe, Big Bang Seungri's AND.here Cafe in Dongsung-dong, and, Super Junior EunHyuk's Chocolat BonBon in Guro.
12. Yongma Land
The once popular and abandoned amusement park has been somewhat revived through the power of KPOP. Yongma Land was officially closed down in 2011 but has been attracting visitors thanks to the attention it received through music video filming locations for Exo and Crayon Pop. Over the years, many fans have come to have the abandoned amusement park to take photos that we all lowkey want for our Instagrams.
