On October 27 KST, Seoul's Go Dung Civil Court made its final decision regarding former EXO member Tao's appeal against SM Entertainment.
Previously, Tao filed a lawsuit demanding the reevaluation of his contract with SM Entertainment, which the court dismissed in favor of SM. His side decided to file an appeal in this decision, but according to the court's ruling on October 27, Tao's appeal has been officially defeated.
SM Entertainment "welcomed the court's wise and flexible ruling", and emphasized that both Tao's first lawsuit, as well as his appeal, have been rejected. Unlike fellow former EXO members Kris and Luhan, whose lawsuits against SM Entertainment became resolved with compromise, Tao's case is the only case where the court ruled entirely in SM's favor.
