Professional League of Legend player Lee Sang Hyuk, more famously known by his game ID 'Faker', officially debuted as a pro-gamer in 2013. Since then, he has won the 'LoL World Championship' a total of 3 times and is considered the greatest player of all-time. He's even referred to as 'god' among numerous e-sports fans. With his immense success, it's estimated he makes the top salary in the field, around 3,000,000,000 KRW ($2.6 million annually).

However, it's revealed Lee Sang Hyuk doesn't spend much of his money, with the only big purchase being a home that he bought for him and his family. The 22-year-old gamer explained during an interview with OSEN on October 24, "My parents take care of my money. My monthly allowance does not exceed 200,000 ($177)." He added, "A lot of the expenses are taken care of by the team... and my fans gift me the books I like so there's not much that I need to spend on."
Meanwhile, Lee Sang Hyuk's team SK Telecom T1 is scheduled to go against China's RNG in the semi-finals for '2017 LoL World Championship' at The Shanghai Oriental Sports Center on October 28.
