Leessang's Gil receives sentence for his 3rd DUI charge

On October 13, Gil attended the final trial for his third DUI case at Seoul Central District Court.

Last month, prosecutors announced they're seeking an 8-month prison sentence for Gil. However, the final trial on the 13th ultimately sentenced Gil to 6-months of penal servitude, 2 years of probation, and 80 hours of community service.

Back in 2004, Gil was charged with his first DUI. Ten years later in 2014, he was caught with a DUI again, leading to a license suspension and departure from MBC 'Infinity Challenge'. Then in June 2017, Gil was caught driving with an alcohol level of 0.164% after drinking 3 bottles of soju. 

The rapper admitted to his wrongdoings and issued an apology, and also stated, "I will accept all punishment because my crime is very heavy."
