1. The Master's Sun
When a woman suddenly can see ghosts after a near-death experience, she gets bombarded with restless souls that require her help. It's not until she meets a wealthy CEO that makes the ghosts disappear through his touch. With its occasional jump scares, eerie story, and spicy romance, this drama is one you do not want to miss!
2. I Saw the Devil
When the fiance of a NIS agent (Kim Soo Hyun) is murdered by a psychopathic murderer (Jang Kyung-Chul), Kim Soo Hyun sets out on a revenge mission that blurs the line between good and evil. This psychological thriller is one that will keep its audience up at night scared of what may be right around the corner.
3. Sympathy for Lady Vengeance
The third installment to The Vengeance Trilogy, this movie is a psychological thriller that follows the story of Lee Geum-ja who recently was released from prison for serving a murder sentence she did not commit. The story follows Geum-ja as she plots a 13-year plot to seek revenge on the true murderer. Eerie and incredibly symbolic, this movie is a creepy way to start your Halloween night.
4. Oh My Ghostess
For those interested in a creepy yet fun show, this one is for you! When sex-deprived Shin Soon-ae dies a virgin, she seeks out a way to "resolve her grudge" by losing her virginity through possessing the body of Bong-sun, the granddaughter of a shaman. A little on the silly end, this drama is a fun one that involves the supernatural no fan wants to miss.
5. Arang and the Magistrate
This one is for the fans of historical dramas. Arang, a young girl that gets murdered, returns on the hunt for the person that killed her. Unfortunately, she is also being chased after by the reaper but determined, this spirit seeks to resolve her dying wish in order to move on.
6. Spellbound
Scary, romantic, and a little bit weird, Spellbound shares the story of solitary Yeo-Ri who spends her time around ghosts due to the fact that her vengeful ghost of a best friend keeps scaring people around her relentlessly. She ends up working for Jo-goo, a street magician, that must overcome his fear of her ghosts (literally) in order to develop a friendship turn romance.
7. Train to Busan
The zombie apocalypse movie that quickly spread internationally takes place on a train to Busan as Seok-woo, a single father workaholic, promises to take his daughter to Busan to visit her mom. The violent outbreak of zombie attacks terrorize Korea as people rush to safety.
8. Goblin
A supernatural romance tale that shares the story of a warrior from the Joseon Dynasty that turns into a goblin due to death by his own sword that carried the blood of hundreds of men. He is immortal until his bride removes the sword from his body, releasing him to the death he so craves.
9. Mirror of the Witch
The story of a cursed princess abandoned at birth, it is her duty to protect the kingdom and her twin brother from the wrath of an evil witch practicing dark magic. Will she be able to reclaim her throne and defeat the evil witch from destroying her nation?
10. 49 Days
Both incredibly supernatural but also super sad, this drama starts off destroying the perfect life of Kang Min Ho as she gets into a car accident leaving her comatose. In order to get a second chance at life, she must find three people outside her family who would cry genuine tears for her. With only 49 days, she has to do what it takes to get another chance.
