YG Entertainment has released a teaser clip to signal the beginning of its brand new idol survival program, 'Mix Nine'!

The program aims to bring together YG's Yang Hyun Suk with currently promoting idols from numerous labels, small to big. In his interview clip, Papa YG gave a detailed briefing on the premise of the show and its aim as well as what he will be looking for in the participating idols. He said, "Back in the day, YG didn't look at faces/visuals when choosing idols. When Big Bang first came out, they got a lot of hate for that. But on 'Mix Nine', I would like for the boys and girls to be handsome and pretty if possible." 

The producer also explained that in the final round, the top 9 boys and top 9 girls will be competing against one another as boy group vs. girl group, and more! If you want the full scoop on 'Mix Nine', check out the teaser clip above!
