In 2014, B-Free started drama with San E by releasing a fierce diss track ''My Team'' where he called San E a "retarded rapper". Several months later, San E fired back with the track ''On Top of Your Head''.
B-Free is also known for dissing BTS. The rapper poked fun at the idol group's stage makeup, choreography, and more, which many fans found highly offensive. B-Free gained a lot of hate due to these remarks about BTS but he did not back up. He actually worsened the matter by retweeting hate comments toward BTS and even stating he'll bitch slap the boys the next time he sees them.

The controversy involving BTS and San E was brought back to surface in a recent episode of 'Balance Game'.
B-Free was the featured guest on episode 6 and had to play the 'would you rather' game. The last question asked, "If you had to apologize, who would it be?" The options were San E or BTS. After a moment of thought, B-Free picked San E.
