Korean American Artists' Influence in Social Media

1. Arden Cho
The Korean American actress, singer, and model, is best known for her former role as Kira Yukimura on Teen Wolf. Arden Cho has over 500,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel ardenBcho where she covers various songs and vlogs about her daily life. It wasn't until her college years when she studied Psychology that she began to learn more about her Asian American background and even won the Miss Korea Chicago competition. She currently lives in Los Angeles, CA, where she is pursuing her career in acting.
2. Ki Hong Lee
A Korean American Actor famous for his role of Minho in The Maze Runner and Dong Nguyen in the Netflix's series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. He was born in Seoul, Korea but eventually moved to Los Angeles, CA where he pursued his acting career. He has starred in various YouTube videos such as Away We Happened as well as Asian Bachelorette, both filmed by Wong Fu Productions
3. David So
David So is a popular Internet personality that has managed to accumulate over 1.4 million subscribers! Besides being a musician, he is also popular for his comedic videos as well as his occasional appearances on JustKiddingFilms. He also stars in a new drama film called 'Gook' filmed by Justin Chon.
4. Mike Song
Mike Song is one of the co-founders of popular dance group Kinjaz. Starting his fame with Kaba Modern in season 1 of America's Best Dance Crew, Mike Song has reached more than 250,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel. Along with his "brothers" in Kinjaz, Mike Song aims to innovate, entertain, and impact the world through creatively intricate choreography and storytelling through dancing.
5. Jen Chae
A Designer/Youtube/Blogger since 2008, Jen Chae has dedicated her time to encouraging others to feel beautiful in their body through beauty tips, inspirations, and sharing her life. Jen Chae has over 1 million subscribers on YouTube where she shares her experience with makeup and her new journey as a mother and wife.
6. Sonia and Janice Lee
Janice and Sonia Lee, otherwise known by their YouTube name Jayesslee, are Korean Australian (ok they're not Korean American) twins that quickly grew popular by enchanting viewers with their soothing voice. Janice and Sonia since have both gotten married and given birth to two wonderful kids each. Both continue to pursue music and vlogging while sharing their experiences as moms. They have over 2.1 million subscribers on their channel.
7. Dumbfoundead
Jonathan Park, also known as Dumbfoundead, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and eventually settled in Los Angeles, CA when he was three with his family. He began to make a name for himself as a battle rapper until the release his first solo album in 2011. His most recent album 'Foreigner' features many famous artists such as Simon Dominic, Tiger JK, Jessi, G.Soul and much more. You can follow his channel with nearly 500,000 subscribers here.
8. DANakaDAN
Dan Matthews is a Korean transnational, transracial adoptee from South Korea. Based in Los Angeles, CA DANakaDAN is an alternative hip hop artist who shares his experience regarding self-identity, addiction, and adoption. He is currently the lead content creator and producer of ISAtv on YouTube where he shared his powerful experience reconnecting with his motherland. You can follow his channel here.
9. Yuri Tag
