On September 27, Go Kyung Pyo had an interview with Xports News and was given various questions about his dramas, love life, and more.
One question asked about the dating news of 'Reply 1988' co-stars. On this, Go Kyung Pyo revealed, "I didn't know about the two. I found out on the day the news broke out and I happened to be filming guerilla date that day. One person suddenly asked me what I think about their dating news and I replied, 'I hope the two love with only looking at each other.'"

He added, "People were even asking me about the two so I could imagine how loads of questions will be given to them. Also, different things could be said about them. I hope that doesn't hurt them and make them drift apart. I also think it's a brave thing to admit to dating. Their confidence is amazing."
